SSI Awarded Prime Contract by Defense Logistics Agency

Manassas Park, VA – January 14, 2016 - Storage Strategies, Inc. (SSI) announced today that the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) awarded them a contract to provide data storage management support services for the DLA enterprise.  Through this new contract, SSI will provide onsite storage management subject matter experts to DLA at their data center facilities in Tracy, California; Dayton, Ohio; Richmond, Virginia; New Cumberland and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  This three year delivery order was awarded competitively under SSI’s General Services Administration (GSA) IT (Schedule 70) contract.  SSI has been assisting DLA with data storage architecture and management since 2007 when it won its first prime contract supporting DLA’s data center in Philadelphia.  Steve Mackie, President of SSI said, “It’s an honor and privilege to be chosen by DLA to continue to support them on this important enterprise-wide project.”
