The HUBZone program provides SSI with the opportunity to significantly contribute to the local economy and enhance the company's business development efforts. SSI was certified as a HUBZone Small Business by the Small Business Administration (SBA) in July of 2014.  In addition to providing basic information technology skills and job searching training to Manassas Park residents, the CRC works in collaboration with Manassas Park High School offering jobs at the CRC to students involved in the high school's Work Study Program. This unique education program allows students to work part-time during their junior or senior year earning credit for a class while gaining commercial work experience and earning income. Students provide assistance to Manassas Park residents and while concurently working on industry IT certifications.  SSI's CRC serves as a stepping stone local students to gain skills, industry certifications, and practical work experience making them marketable on future SSI contracts with the Federal government or with other employers.
