SSI Awarded GSA Delivery Order by Defense Supply Center Philadelphia 

Washington, DC, February 24, 2009 - Storage Strategies, Inc, (SSI) announced it has been awarded a follow on delivery order by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to continue to support the DLA’s data center operations in Philadelphia, PA. SSI provides a wide array of data storage management support services the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP). This delivery order was awarded under SSI’s General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 70 contract. Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) storage management solutions include Veritas products including Netbackup Enterprise Server, Storage Foundation, Enterprise Vault Software operating on Sun servers using multi-vendor tape hardware and multi-vendor disk hardware. The DLA provides worldwide support to the U.S. armed services through the management, acquisition, and distribution of consumable supplies. DSCP is a primary field level activity for DLA managing subsistence, clothing and textiles, general and industrial, and medical items.
