SSI Awarded Follow-on Storage Management Contract by DLA Philadelphia 

Philadelphia, PA July 22, 2013 – Storage Strategies, Inc, (SSI) announced it was recently awarded a contract by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Contracting Services Office Philadelphia to provide data storage management services to the DLA’s data center operations in Philadelphia, PA. SSI provides a wide array of data storage management support services to DLA Troop Support in Philadelphia. This one year contract with two option years was awarded competitively as a set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. SSI has been supporting DLA in Philadelphia for over five years. Steve Mackie, President of SSI said, “It is an honor to know that DLA trusts us enough to re-hire us for three more years to manage the data for their 3,000+ users.” The DLA provides worldwide support to the U.S. armed services through the management, acquisition, and distribution of consumable supplies. DLA Troop Support in Philadelphia is a primary field level activity for DLA managing subsistence, clothing and textiles, general and industrial, and medical items.
