SSI Awarded a Five-Year Contract Extension by the General Services Administration (GSA)

Washington, DC, October 14 2013 – 

Storage Strategies, Inc. (SSI) has been awarded a five-year contract extension by the General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 70 for IT Professional Services. The GSA Schedule is a government-wide procurement vehicle that provides streamlined access to specialized industry partners, with established reputations, who have consistently demonstrated the ability to deliver world-class solutions at a fair and competitive price. The GSA Schedule 70 is a preferred method of purchasing IT goods and services for most government buyers. 

SSI President Steve Mackie said, "We are extremely pleased to have received this GSA award. Our GSA Schedule 70 has been a very important contract vehicle for us - accounting for over 33 percent of our revenue to date.” SSI’s GSA Schedule 70 business has included a contract providing data storage architecture and management services to the Defense Logistics Agency in Philadelphia and a contract with The Department of Veterans’ Affairs providing data storage engineering and management services in Pittsburg. In addition to its Schedule 70 work, SSI has also had engagements through other contract vehicles supporting the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA), U.S. Navy, and other intelligence agencies.
