SSI is seeking an entry level Deployment Hardware Technician to support a government contract.

​

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform installation, and support of new Windows based computer systems

  • Install Image and software on laptops and workstation

  • Prepare the computers for deployments and support the deployment activities

  • Assist with the installation and support of computer systems and peripherals

  • Coordinates with Management for inventory, hardware orders, equipment movement, and shipping needs

  • Assist in assuring that work products comply with established deliverable guidelines including format and content

  • Assist in the development of documentation based on the customer's processes

  • Travel to customer sites and perform deployment activities to include, site surveys, installs hardware, install software, remove hardware, check hardware for shipment etc.  

  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 0-2 years of experience in Information Technology.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making.

  • Experience in Customer Service

  • Must have active interim Secret clearance or higher, or be eligible for clearance

  • Must be able to travel at least 25%

  • Must be able to type
