DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SSI is seeking a Senior Engineer to manage and lead the enterprise tools and data transfer hub engineering activities for an intelligence community (IC) customer on a new 5-year contract, providing comprehensive end-to-end integration and enhancements.  Candidate will be responsible for ensuring new tools/capabilities are designed and engineered to interface with legacy capabilities from the individual IC elements, and to facilitate machine-to-machine reporting.  Additional duties include:

  • Research and develop tools to collect, analyze, aggregate, and provide network topologies that depict the integrated IC Information Environment (IE) network connections.

  • Research and develop integrated sharing tools and coordinate the display of relevant IA/CND information.

  • Define standards required for network mapping of metadata to ensure IC CND elements have the capability to identify, contain, and isolate compromised systems.

  • Engineer, administer and maintain tools for: PKI portal, vulnerability information collection, fusion analysis, and incident case management.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated experience collecting network-mapping metadata from the IC Computer Network Defense (CND) elements/IC IE service providers and provide integrated network-mapping information.

  • Experience developing, promoting adoption, and maintaining dissemination procedures for new capabilities.

  • Experience leading the development of capabilities based on security intelligence, post incident findings, new threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Extensive proven experience deploying tools and capabilities with the IC.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of experience in the field of authorization and accreditation (A&A) from design to authority to operate (ATO).

  • Active TS/SCI clearance

  • Security+ CE and CEH, CISSP or certification required for IAT Level II compliance


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience within DIA a plus

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
