DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SSI is seeking an experienced cyber watch officer to oversee the operations in the Watch Division on a new 24/7/365 intelligence community 5-year secure operations center contract.  Candidate will be responsible for the situational awareness of the Computer Network Defense (CND) on a cyber operations contract in multiple geographic locations providing mission critical network defense support including:

  • Cyber security event monitoring and intermediate cyber threat analysis.

  • Provide oversight and coordination support for the Integrated Defense Management Team (IDMT).

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Watch Division and manage threat awareness/response, to ensure the continuity and management of Incident Case Management System (ICMS).

  • Ensure threat analyst team fuses information assurance data, reported incidents, emerging threats, and vulnerabilities with open-source and all-source intelligence to perform intermediate analysis.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive background in highly classified IT cyber defense security center operations.

  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing personnel to uninterrupted performance delivery and high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Expertise in customer relationship management with excellent written & oral communication skills, high comfort level briefing senior government officials.

  • Demonstrated experience producing written intelligence reports and products and briefing senior officials and counterparts.

  • Experience working jointly between IC agencies.

  • Must work well under competing priorities, strict schedules and guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Senior Watch Officer in 24/7/365 secure operations environment.

  • Master’s degree in Business, IT or related field.

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.

  • Security+ CE and CEH, CISSP or certification required for IAT Level II compliance.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience within DIA a plus

  • PMP or other management level certification
