SSI is seeking a Requirements Manager to support a Navy program office in the Mechanicsburg, PA area. The successful candidate will support the Lead Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Engineer, Program Manager and Configuration Management Lead by providing requirements management functions indicated below:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Work with stakeholders to elicit/understand the business level requirements.

  • Work with the functional teams to elicit and translate/decompose the business requirement into functional and nonfunctional requirements.

  • Work with the configuration management team to get the Functional Requirements Documents (FRDS) / required function category   approved and into the Navy ERP baseline.

  • Work with the QA/test team to ensure all requirement are tested/verified, and traceable through the QA/test tool and the requirements management tool.

  • Ensure standard processes and procedures are followed and new ones are written.

  • Participate in continual process improvement events to continually improve the requirements management (RM) process.

  • Provide RM Plans, FRDS Review, and FRDS peer reviews.

  • Provide requirements decomposition, writing, traceability, validation and verification.

REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.), Mathematics, Computer Sciences, Operations Research, Physics, Intelligence, Foreign/International Relations, or National Security from an accredited college or university. 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in requirements management support for DoD/DoN programs.

  • Must have 5 years’ experience in one of the following: Identifying or eliciting requirements, analyzing or evaluating requirements, validating or prioritizing requirements, detailing or writing requirements, baselining or tracing requirements, controlling requirements. 

  • Experience reading and writing Performance Work Statements (PWS) and Contracts.

  • Strong capabilities in MS Office, Serena Dimensions and Quality Center.

  • Good oral, verbal and written skills.

  • Must have excellent teamwork skills.

  • Must have an active Secret clearance.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

 

  • SAP and Navy ERP knowledge/experience a plus.

  • Knowledge/ Experience with DOORS and JIRA a plus.
