- Provide training and deployment support on computer systems, hardware and software.
- Develops, organizes and delivers technical training programs and related materials in support of customers and/or company employees.
- Perform duties as onsite lead, managing deployment team progress, reporting to government and client representatives on status.
- Works with customer and functional organizations to establish course content and objectives.
- Prepares lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements or software documentation
- Ensures course material reflects current product features
- Instructs participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions
- Follows up to determine applicability of course material
- Excellent communication skills oral and written, and strong teamwork skills
- Experience in delivering software applications training to end users in a classroom and/or one-on-one setting
- Experience in delivering technical systems (hardware and software) training to end users in a classroom and/or one-on-one setting
- Demonstrated ability to develop technical documentation and deliver training using oral presentation skills (lesson plans, procedures, reports, etc.)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Must have 10 years’ experience in technical training.
- Must have work experience delivering technical instruction in a classroom environment
- Active Secret clearance
- Must be able to lift and move computers and other equipment of approximately 25-50 lbs, as well as being able to push a wheeled dolly with multiple computer systems loaded.
- Position requires bending, kneeling, or crawling to retrieve cables under/behind furniture.
- Adobe Connect Pro and Adobe Captivate or other remote training session programs.
- Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) or Microsoft Certified Learning Consultant (MCLC)
- Department of State Experience
